Too many apps open after login
Chat tools, updaters, cloud-sync helpers, and leftover trial software can all attach themselves to login without a clear reminder.
Mac service
macOS can open a long list of apps, helpers, and background items as soon as you log in. Some of those items are useful. Others were added by software you rarely open and can delay a ready desktop. CleanMac Care helps California customers review login items, background applications, and startup-related settings so you can choose what launches automatically.

Problems
Chat tools, updaters, cloud-sync helpers, and leftover trial software can all attach themselves to login without a clear reminder.
A long startup list does not always mean the Mac is failing. It may simply be doing more work at login than you want.
Some items do not open a full window but still run after login. Those helpers can be easy to miss if you only look at the Dock.
Login items accumulate. A periodic review helps you keep the ones you still want and remove the rest with your approval.
Scope

Process
If you recognize specific apps that appear at login, include them in the request. If you only know that too much launches, that is enough to start a review.
During the session we go through the list together, including helpers that may not use a familiar name.
You decide which items stay. We do not clear the entire startup list just to make it shorter.
When appropriate, we log out or restart so you can see the difference and restore any item that should have stayed.
Startup lists are well suited to remote review because the settings are on screen. After you authorize a session, we can inspect the list together while you approve each change.
On-site help can be useful when several family or office Macs need the same kind of login-item review, or when it is easier to sit with the computer through a restart. On-site visits are confirmed after the request is reviewed.
These answers are specific to this service. General scheduling and authorization questions are on the FAQ page.
Usually not. Some items are useful, such as accessibility tools or software you want ready immediately. The goal is an intentional list, not an empty one.
Startup management is about apps and helpers that open after login, not about taking over your Apple Account. We will not ask for that password through the form.
Yes. Installing or updating software can add a login item again. That is expected behavior from some applications, not a failure of the review.
Tell us about the Mac and the issue. We will review the request before confirming remote or on-site next steps.
